He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd C. Sr. Harp and Myrtle Harp (Farr); his son Rick Harp, Sr.; his brother Lloyd Harp, Jr.; and his half-siblings, Harry Beebe and Katherine "Louise" Azbill (Beebe).
He is survived by: his wife Karen Harp of Mount Auburn; his children, Wanda Schares (Larry), Dawn Athey (Michael), Kevin Harp (Shelly) of Jesup and Duane Harp, Jr. (Carrie) of Gilbertville; and his sister Darlene Bland. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren.
