He is survived by: his parents, Randy Oettchen and Tamara Oettchen (Norstrud) of Gladbrook; his sister Emily Steichen (Austin) of Spirit Lake, IA; his nephews, Hendrik and Hayes; and his grandmother Caroline Oettchen of Gladbrook.
