He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Ricklefs and Edmondeane Ricklefs (Hodgell); and his son Jason Ricklefs. He is survived by: his wife Jann Ricklefs (Brinkman) of Gilmore City; his children, Jolene Applegate (Jim) of Van Meter, Janiece Sehman (Wade) of St. Charles, Jennifer Seiler (Jeff) of Port Charlotte, FL, Heather Edmonds (Eddie) of Turin, Brian Ricklefs (Katie) of Dakota City and J. D. Ricklefs (Katy) of Cedar Rapids; and his brother Ben Ricklefs (Kathy) of Rolfe. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; sister.
