She was predeceased by: her parents, Phillip Jacobson and Sylvia Jacobson (Boyd); her son David James Tool; her granddaughter Amanda Marrie Albrecht; her siblings, Russell Jacobson, Jo Ann Schurr, Mary Ford and Susan Anderson; her brothers-in-law, Ben Schurr, Jack Wiese, Jim Ford and Ron Anderson; her nephew Steve Schurr; and her niece Lorrie Carman.
She is survived by: her husband Donald Tool; her children, Daniel Tool (Lisa) of Gilmore City, Kathleen Carman (Richard) of Gilmore City and Tricia Tool of Fort Dodge; her grandchildren, Chelsey Thilges (Matt), Nick Carman (Abby), Nate Tool (Allie), Kennedy Tool, Karter Rossing and Cooper Rossing; and her sisters, Judy Carman (Eugene) and Sheila Wiese.
