He was predeceased by: his father Dale Wagner; his brother Cory Wagner; his grandparents, Lloyd, Grace Wagner, Iver and Cecelia Behrendsen; and his father-in-law John Herman.
He is survived by: his mother Patricia Wagner (Behrendsen); his wife Annie Herman; his children, Keegan (Soraya) of Cedar Rapids, Ashton (Megan Flemr) of Des Moines and Kiley Wadsley (Ben) of Des Moines; his grandson Elliot; his grandmother Vernice Wagner of Humboldt; his siblings, Chris Wintermute (Steve) of Creston, Kim Minnis (Kevin) of Ankeny and Kolby Wagner (Joan) of Rockwell City; his mother-in-law Lucy Herman of Pocahontas; and his sister-in-law Jolene Royster (Jamie) of Des Moines. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
