She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Asa and Pearl Asa (Weiner); her former husband William "Bill" Marchant; her husband James "Pat" Cavanaugh; her siblings, Kenneth, Howard, Maurice, Don Asa and Phyllis Pedersen; her daughter Diane Arnold; her son-in-law Larry Sorensen; and her great grandchild Amara Sorensen.
She is survived by: her children, Dennis Marchant (Janice) of Humboldt, Ronald Marchant (Liza) of Humboldt, Karen Sorensen of Humboldt and Judy Marchant (Denny Davis) of Gilmore City; and her brother Gene Asa (Lois) of Port Orchard, Washington.. She is also survived by her eleven grandchildren, twenty-five great grandchildren.
