It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ell Fredin of Gilmore City, Iowa, born in Greenville, Iowa, who passed away on June 14, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Gladyce L. Toft; his son Tim; his granddaughter Kellie Fredin; and his mother Dagmar Fredin. He is survived by: his children, Tom (Diane) of Adel, Tary of Amana and Tonya Bern (Larry) of Amana; and his grandchildren, Chad Fredin, Ryan Fredin (Judy), Mandy Oleson (Todd), Kearstin Scarbrough (David), Jesse Bern, Joshua Bern (Christa) and Amanda Fennern. He is also survived by fourteen great- grandchildren, and special friends.
Memorials may be given to The Paula Babar Hospice Home in Fort Dodge in memory of Gladyce Fredin, or the American Heart Association in memory of Tim Fredin.
