With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Francis Richard Roe of Gilman, Iowa, born in Grinnell, Iowa, who passed away on February 24, 2022 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George D. Roe and Emma Edith Roe (Halterman); his wife Josie Roe; his son David Richard Roe; and his siblings, George Roe, Jane Morton, Peggy Fleming, Chuck Roe and Barbara Duncan.
He is survived by: his daughters, Suzanne Golder (Ken) of Apple Valley and Laura Purdy (Chris) of Lakeville, Minnesota.; and his grandchildren, Eli Golder, Abigail Golder, Meghan Lisenby (Taylor), Quinn Purdy, Olivia Purdy and Samuel Purdy.
