He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Louis and Mary Elizabeth Wittry Conrad; and his siblings, Frances Hollar (Donald), Robert Conrad (Clarice), Marie Sachs (Merle), Louis Conrad (Teresa) and James Conrad (Patricia).
He is survived by: his wife Carole Delight Smith of Washburn; his children, Anthony "Tony" Conrad (Kelly) of Evansdale, Denise Glenny (Bill) of Washburn, Diane Elliott of West Branch, Craig Conrad of Waterloo and Debra Hill (Chad) of Ames; his grandchildren, Nicole Guenther, Holly Goldsmith, Hailey Griffin, Mariah Hult, Kayla Schmidt, Nick Conrad, Mason Hill, Josey Hill and Luke Hill; his great grandchildren, Quinton Guenther, Alex Guenther, Bailey Goldsmith, Hilary Goldsmith, Isaac Griffin, Johanna Griffin, Sawyer Schmidt and Skylar Schmidt; his sister Anita Russell; and his sister-in-law Marva Conrad.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (311 15th Ave, Gilbertville, IA 50634). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
