It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Lee Holbach (Gilbertville, Iowa), born in Waterloo, Iowa, who passed away on March 4, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Fagerlind and Jennie Keeler Fagerlind; her son Scott Holbach; her siblings, Carl Fagerlind, Dale Fagerlind, Howard Fagerlind, Ruth Klaus, Thelma Egner and Edna Mae Fagerlind; and her son-in-law Mark Ward.
She is survived by: her husband Jerry of Gilbertville; her children, P. J. Holbach (Laurie) of Reinbeck and Nancy Ward (Jason Jones) of Muscatine; her grandchildren, Alex Nordmeyer, Kayla Sabbah, Jennifer and Lee Ward; her great grandchildren, Shakya and Giovanni Sabbah; her daughter-in-law Shirley Holbach of Elk Hart; and her siblings-in-law, Dave Mentel and Mary Fagerlind of Rochester, Minn. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
