He was predeceased by: his mother Ella Catherine Even (Weber); his wife Gloria Jan Walitshek; his brothers, Anthony Even, Jr. and Ray Even; and his siblings-in-law, Oran "Howdy" Knight, Dan VanEe, Larry Bovey and Cheryl Even.
He is survived by: his father Anthony Herman "Tony" Even of Gilbertville; his children, Todd Even (Dawn), Troy Even (Kelli) of Jesup, IA, Terry Even (Carrie) of Denver, IA, Tracy Even (Kim) of Jesup, IA, Brenda Stone (Don) of Gilbertville, IA and Sherry Kite of Cedar Rapids, IA; and his siblings, Richard "Dick" Even, Harry Even (Marilyn) of Jesup, Lonnie Even (Sandy) of Jesup, Jimmy Even (Mary Jo) of Gilbertville, Tim Even (Sandy) of Evansdale, Alan Even (Dawn) of Jesup, Linda Knight of Gilbertville, Connie Bovey of Waterloo, Kay Speare (Les) of Texas, JoAnn VanEe of Washburn and Donna Youngblut (Mike) of Jesup. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren.
Memorials will be directed to Immaculate Conception Church and Don Bosco High School in Gilbertville and to Cedar Valley Hospice in Waterloo.
