With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley A. Schmitz of Gilbertville, Iowa, born in Allentown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 1, 2022 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Shirley A. Schmitz to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Paules and Ella Paules (Riffert); and her siblings-in-law, Beverly Youngblut, Claudette Webber and Norman Youngblut.
She is survived by: her children, Diane Robert (Mike) of Waterloo, Steve (Linda Girsch) of Waterloo, Scott (Elaine), Gail Tripp (Keith) of Joshua, TX and Linda Harris of Gilbertville; her grandchildren, Bethany and Caitlyn Robert; and her children, Tyler Schmitz (Breanna), Ross, Dana Foulk and Brooke Harris. She is also survived by 5 great grand children.
