We are sad to announce that on June 13, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Mary J. McGee of Gilbertville, Iowa, born in Elma, Iowa. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Prochaska and Rose Prochaska (Haskovec); her husband Jack; her son Daniel McGee; her great grandchild James Ollendieck; and her brother Joe Prochaska.

She is survived by: her children, Dennis McGee (Teresa) of Oklahoma City, OK, Richard McGee (Veronica) of Huxley, IA, Debra Backes (Russ) of Raymond, IA and Deanne "Dee" Reiter (Hal) of Buckingham, IA; her daughter-in-law Patricia McGee of Decorah, IA; and her siblings, Millie Whitinger of Elma, James "Jim" Prochaska of Milan, IL, John Prochaska (Hattie) of Myrtle Beach, SC and Fran Prochaska (Theresa) of Milan, IL.. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren with two other great grandchildren.

Memorials will be directed to the Bosco System, Immaculate Conception Church, Nugent-Demuth American Legion Post 742, and Care Initiatives Hospice.
