With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lillian Gertrude Armstrong (Gilbertville, Iowa), born in Waterloo, Iowa, who passed away on May 23, 2020 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Mike Thome and Gertrude Fischels Thome; her husband Maynard Armstrong; and her brothers, Florent Thome, Joseph Thome and Gerald Thome.

She is survived by: her son Richard Armstrong (Mary) of Roseville, Minn; her stepdaughters, Randa Ferguson (Kenneth) of Kennewick, Wash, Harriet Hammond (Steven) of Moscow and Gloria Taylor (Tom) of Moscow, Idaho; and her granddaughter Kassandra Armstrong of Roseville, Minn. She is also survived by 7 step-grandchildren and 13 step great grandchildren.
