He was predeceased by: his sons, John Delagardelle and Larry Delagardelle; and his siblings, Vince Delagardelle and Donna Lutgen. He is survived by: his parents, John Delagardelle and Irene Huberty Delagardelle; his spouse Kathryn Weber; his children, Rick (Pam) of Cedar Falls, Connie Malven (Bill) of Waterloo, Diane Frost (Jim) of Waterloo, Janie Laipple (Charlie) of Cedar Falls, Judy Elling (Larry) of Janesville, Sandy Etringer (Gene) of Waterloo and Deb Thome (Mark) of Gilbertville; his siblings, Norb (Mary) of Jesup and Theresa "Tootie" Brustkern (Peter) of Jesup; and his daughter-in-law Jackie Delagardelle of Ames. He is also survived by four grandchildren; thirty-eight great-grandchildren.
