He is survived by: his wife Joanne Jones of Gilbertville; his children, Christie Eldred (Chad) of Urbana, Allison Christensen (Shane) of Waterloo, Barry Thome (Bridget) of Waterloo, Dustin Thome (Sara) of Gilbertville and Dylan Thome of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; and his siblings, Randy Thome (Susie) of Waterloo, Jan Kisting (Tom) of Powell, OH, Diane Schons of North Liberty, Sue Porter (Steve) of Kansas City, KS, Lisa Thome-Ha (Sonny) of Kansas City, KS, Lianne McMahon of Kansas City, KS and Ann Collins (Todd) of Rockford, IL.. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
