It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jeanne H. Reuter (Gilbertville, Iowa), born in Waterloo, Iowa, who passed away on May 18, 2019, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Steimel and Catherine Steimel (Schaefer); her husband Harold William Reuter; her son Paul Reuter; her granddaughter Cheryl Reuter; her brothers, Raymond Steimel and Richard Steimel; and her brother-in-law William Pfiffner.
She is survived by: her children, Janice Brettmann (Jerald) of Denver, IA, John "Jack" Reuter (Kathleen) of Jesup, IA and Ronald Reuter (Carol) of Waverly, IA; her grandchildren, Lisa Henriksen (Bill), Jerilyn Miller, Jason Reuter (Jennifer), Lori Watts (Mark), Jeffrey Brettmann (Lauren), Brian Reuter, Kelly Rosonke (Todd) and Jackie White (Brian); her siblings, Ethel Pfiffner of Tulsa, OK and Paul Steimel of Waterloo, IA; her sisters-in-law, Lenora Steimel of Jesup, IA and Marlyne Steimel of Waterloo, IA; and her close friend Bonnie Weber of Gilbertville, IA.. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
Memorials will be directed to St. Joseph Catholic Church and the American Cancer Society.
