He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Newcomb and Lillian Newcomb (Coddington); his daughter Robin Newcomb; and his wife Dawn Newcomb. He is survived by: his children, Guy Newcomb (Elizabeth) of Savage, MN, Jennifer Olson (Mike) of Orono, MN, Julie Vilven (Matt) of Zimmerman, MN, Lindsey Newcomb of Waterloo, IA and Levi Newcomb of Coralville, IA; and his siblings, Guy Newcomb (Brenda) of Sugar Hill, GA, Roger Newcomb (Wendy) and Elaine Davis of Nevada, MO.. He is also survived by ten grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Dave's name to Cedar Valley Hospice or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, his favorite charity.
