He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Paul, Elma Mangrich, Everett Carroll, Thelma and Leonard Watson.
He is survived by: his parents, Gary Mangrich and Elizabeth "Jeanne" Carroll Mangrich; his siblings, Brenda Schmitz (Jeff) of Gilbertville and Scott Mangrich (Connie Seidel) of Waterloo; and his nieces and nephews, Leah Schmitz, Heather Mangrich, Derek Mangrich and Jordan Schmitz.
