She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Carl Ledtje and Alice Margaret Ledtje (Browne); her husband Adam Louis Schares; and her siblings, Bob, Wilbur, Royal, Warren, Jim, Ron Ledtje, Doris Aasgaard, Gertrude Conley and Esther Ledtje.
She is survived by: her children, Terry Schares (Liz), Brenda Dudley (Mike) of Gilbertville, Joli Becker (Mike) of Gilbertville and Renee Weber (Kenny) of Gilbertville; her grandchildren, Brooke, Becky, Carrie, Eric, Sarah, Todd, Joel, Nick and Aaron; her great grandchildren, Jake, Owen, Eva, Stella, Kevin and Dawson; and her brother Norman Ledtje of Waterloo.
Memorials may be directed to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church or the Bosco System in Gilbertville or to family wishes.
