Dave Maxwell Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 4, 2024, at the age of 81, Dave Maxwell of Gibson, Iowa, born in Oskaloosa, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Maxwell and Frances Maxwell (Miller); and his brother James Maxwell. He is survived by: his wife Kristin Armstrong of Gibson; his children, Jenny Webster (Shawn) of Kahoka, MO, Curtis Maxwell (Pam) of Gibson, Joe Armstrong (Michele) of Montezuma and Susan Swacker (Scott) of Urbandale; and his siblings, Richard "Dick" Maxwell of Jacksonville, IL, Jeanne Maschmann of What Cheer and Ellen Zimmerman (David) of Deep River. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Holland-Coble Funeral Home (201 W Main St, Montezuma, IA 50171). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the United Church of Deep River (304 3rd St, Deep River, IA 52222).
Memorials may be directed to the United Church of Deep River or the Morrison-Schrader American Legion Post 296.
