She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Spykerboer and Wilmanette Spykerboer (Kelderman); her husband Jim Parker; her grandparents, William, Lena Spykerboer (Kracht), Hank and Tena Kelderman (Drost); her in-laws, Carrol and Alice Parker; and her brother-in-law Roger Lindemann.
She is survived by: her son Joshua Parker (Jo) of Sioux Falls, SD; her grandchildren, Jill Karalius (Chris) of George, IA, Gabriel, Myles and Reese Karalius; and her sisters, Nyla Sohl (John), Twyla Lindemann, Sandra Lamfers (Dave) and Janice Heikes (Dwayne). She is also survived by 10 nieces and nephews; 21 great nieces and nephews; many cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church (400 E Iowa Ave, George, IA 51237). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the George Public Library.
