It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thelma Van Briesen of George, Iowa, who passed away on January 12, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Briesen and Gladys Van Briesen (Duin); and her siblings, Doris (Lawerence Stubbe), LaDonn Geerdes and Larry Van Briesen.
She is survived by: her brother Paul (Angela Van Briesen); and her siblings-in-law, Carol Van Briesen and Norwood Geerdes of George. She is also survived by 9 nieces and nephews, 15 great nieces and nephews, and 7 great, great nieces and nephews.
