He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence DeVries and Irene DeVries of George, Iowa.; and his niece Jessica DeVries. He is survived by: his child TJ DeVries (Molly); his grandson Jameson of Aurora, CO; his children, Richard DeVries of Milliken, CO and Brittnee DeVries of Marietta, GA; his siblings, Dennis DeVries of George, IA and Debbie Hoyme (Howard) of Waseca, MN; and his nieces and nephews, Melissa Stagman (Michael), Jason Hoyme (Anna), Katie Rieck (Thomas), Megan Jewell (Brandon) and Kelsey Ries (Daniel).
In place of flowers, the family requests donations in Ted's name to the American Red Cross which Delta Airlines is a major sponsor or any charity of your choice.
