She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Dagel and Bertha Dagel; her husband Eldon Albert Techen; her parents-in-law, Arlie and Ella Techen; her sister Marlene Stevens; her in-laws, Ken Schilling, Dick Stevens, Arlene Sohl, Ken Sohl, Arnold Techen, Ruben and Louise Winter; and her nephews, Douglas Techen, Rodney Winter and Kevin Sohl.

She is survived by: her children, Susan Van Tilburg (Vernon) of Doon and Jeffrey Techen (Luella) of Ashton; her sister Jan Schilling of Little Rock; and her sisters-in-law, Elaine Sohl and Marlene Techen. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren.
