She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Trei and Ethel Trei (Hassebrook); her parents-in-law, Sylvester and Elizabeth Johnson; and her sister-in-law Marilyn Johnson.

She is survived by: her husband Bob Johnson; her children, Kim Weeks (Kurt) of Spencer, IA, Mike Johnson (Andrea) of Little Rock, IA and Kari Bruinsma (Terry) of Spirit Lake, IA; and her sisters, Dianne Gruis (Lloyd) of Sibley, IA, Barbara Galles (Tom) of LeMars, IA and Cindy Scandrett (Alfonso) of Greensboro, NC. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
