He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kanengieter and Rose Kanengieter; his siblings, Johnny, Ralph and Anna Mae (Kruse); and his significant other Helene Mulder.
He is survived by: his children, Rosalie (Reeves), Evonne, Shari (Ardill), Marla (Wildeson) and John. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.
