He was predeceased by: his parents, Marlyn Hansmann and Joan Hansmann; and his sister Marla VanBriesen. He is survived by: his wife Darcy Hansmann (Trei); his children, Dana Fischer (Paul) of Faith, Emily Kruse (Taylor) of Sibley and Joshua Hansmann of Upton, Wyoming; his grandchildren, Blakely Kruse and Clayte Fischer; his siblings, Darvin Hansmann (Karel) and Debbie Kats (Dave); and his brother-in-law Randy VanBriesen.
