He is survived by: his father Alfred Dirks of George, IA; his former spouse Tracy Lupkes; his children, Ashley Spillman of Ellsworth, MN and Austin Dirks (Christine) of Hartford, SD; his grandchildren, Taylin Spillman, Brynlee Duin and Evelyn Dirks; and his siblings, Debbie Boe (Jeff) of Sioux Falls, SD, Leann Krull (Kevin) of Wahpeton, IA and Jeff Dirks (Terri) of Wheatland, WY. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
