It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marjorie Black of George, Iowa, born in Oyens, Iowa, who passed away on December 12, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Puetz and Leona Puetz (Heissel); her parents-in-law, John and Amy Black (Kunhenn); her brothers, Francis Puetz and William Puetz; and her siblings-in-law, Wayne Farrin, Rose Puetz, Ben Norkitis, Denny Andersen, Edward Black (Ruth), Jack Black (Mickey) and Ruth Kniseley (Bill).
She is survived by: her husband George Black; her children, Kevin Black (Susan) of Mankato, MN, Kerri Petersen (Rod) of Le Mars, IA, Konnie Oordt (Earl Brown) of Belton, TX, Klare Black (Bob McCarty) of Boulder, CO, Kyle Black (Joann) of Phoenix, AZ, Kurt Black (Betty) of Le Mars, IA and Kris Black (Denise Haag) of Boulder, CO; her grandchildren, Andrea Hessenius, Allie Freking, Alyssa, Breanna Black, Lindsey Kovarna, Logan Black, Kameron, Olivia Black, Leah Baack and Levi Price; her great grandchildren, Silas, Beckett, Ruthie Freking, Lily, London, Leo Kovarna, Price of Arizona, Brock and Britt Hessenius; her siblings, Mary Ellen Farrin, Thomas Puetz, David Puetz and Donna Norkitis; and her siblings-in-law, Joyce Puetz, Jean Andersen and Charles Black (Evelyn). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
