He is survived by: his wife Darlene Van Briesen of Sibley, IA; his children, Laura Ney (Gene) of Ashton, IA, Cheryl Doughty (Russ) of Ashton, IA and Dave Van Briesen of Ashton, IA; his brother Randy Van Briesen of Montezuma, IA; and his siblings-in-law, Virgil Grave of Lake Park, IA and Patsy Van Briesen of George, IA. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
