We bid farewell to John Bollinger Jr. of George, Iowa, born in Fenton, Iowa, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 18, 2025 at the age of 91. John touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Bollinger and Ida Bollinger (Klinge); his wife Georgia Marlow; and his siblings, Lois Gurber (Don), Doris Hilsabeck, Bessie Wookwick (Willis) and Lloyd Bollinger (Nancy).
He is survived by: his sons, Jon Bollinger (Dawn) of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Jim Bollinger (Penny) of Fenton; and his grandchildren, Lydia, Jacob, Jordan and Jenna Bollinger.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. John's Lutheran Church - Fenton (600 Ash St, Fenton, IA 50539). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
