He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerrit Korthals and Ida Korthals (DeWeerd); his wife Ardis Korthals (Eberline); his siblings, Leonard, Marion, Albert, Ronald, Gertrude, Henrietta, Jeanette, Leona and Edith; and his son-in-law Bruce Frantz.
He is survived by: his children, Judy Arzdorf (Daryl) of Mankato, MN, Nancy Frantz of Sioux Falls, SD, David Korthals (Twyla) of George, IA and Ruth Kruger (Tim) of George, IA; his brothers, John Korthals (Mary), Alfred Korthals and Edward Korthals; and his sister-in-law Floy Korthals.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials made to the family to be designated at a later date.
