He was predeceased by: his wife Pearl DeBoer; his parents, Gerrit Korthals and Ida Korthals (DeWeerd); his granddaughter Kimberly Stubbe; and his siblings, Leonard, John, Marion, Albert, Harold, Ronald, Gertrude, Henrietta, Jeanette, Leona and Edith.
He is survived by: his daughters, Becky Stubbe (Doug) of George, IA and Rachel Sullivan (Matt) of Shelby Twp, MI; his grandchildren, Jason Stubbe (Megan) of George, IA, Karlee Sieperda (Hunter) of George, IA, Noah of Shelby Twp, MI, Caleb of Shelby Twp, MI, Levi of Shelby Twp, MI and Kimberlie Sullivan of Shelby Twp, MI; his great grandchildren, Ava, Derek Timmer, Justin Stubbe, Hudson and Cameron Sieperda; and his brother Alfred Korthals of George, IA. He is also survived by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and other extended family.
