It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donna Mae Rypkema of George, Iowa, born in Sibley, Iowa, who passed away on November 27, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Hassebroek and Anna Hassebroek (Buss); her daughter Kathilyn Sue; her granddaughter Lindsey Kay Nagel; and her siblings, Oran, Donald Hassebroek, Beatrice Monkemeier and Ethel Augsburger.
She is survived by: her husband John W. Rypkema; her children, Steve, Kathy, Mary, Jacque, Jim, Steven Rypkema of Midlothian, TX and Egan (Courtney); her daughter-in-law Mary Behrens (Mark) of George, IA; her grandchildren, Amanda (Scott), Anthony (Rochelle), Austin (Holly) and Jacqueline Nagel (Rod) of Fayetteville, AR; her great grandchildren, Elizabeth and Anna (Travis); her grandson James Rypkema (Klarice) of George; and her great grandchildren, Brad (Ashley), Brian, Jason (Olivia), Kate, Reed, Taylor, Mason, Bentley, Jackson, Cameron, Emmalyn, Amelia, Chloe and Beckett. She is also survived by her daughters and sewed gifts for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She truly missed their monthly outings during this Covid pandemic.
