He is survived by: his wife Sandy Pike; his children, Christy DeSmet of Rock Rapids, IA and Charles Bauler of Rock Rapids, IA; his grandchildren, Michael, Natasha, Samantha, Brandon and Tyler; and his great grandchildren, Josh and Noah.
