She was predeceased by: her parents, Marian Groth (Booth) and Reverend Erwin Groth; her brother Fredrick Groth (Pat); her father-in-law Tony Hoing (Ruth); and her brother-in-law Maynard Hoing (Joan).
She is survived by: her husband Michael Hoing of George, Iowa; her sons, Jeff Hoing (Kendra) of Lansing and Greg Hoing (LaVonne) of Guthrie Center, Iowa; her grandchildren, Jaci Hoing of Minneapolis, Jenna Hoing of Kansas City, Cole Hoing (Sarah) of Topeka, Cael Hoing of Guthrie Center and MaKayla Hoing of Iowa City; and her siblings, Thomas Groth (Ricardo) of Long Beach and Nancy Groth (Grace) of Campbell River. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other extended family.
In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials to be directed to the George Public Library, 119 S. Main Street, George, IA 51237.
