It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Van Tubergen of George, Iowa, born in Boyden, Iowa, who passed away on November 17, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jan Scholten and Ella Scholten (Diekevers); her husband Edgar; and her siblings, John Scholten, Grada Vander Lugt, Jeanette Sybesma and Henrietta Dykstra.
She is survived by: her former husband Edward Van Tubergen; her children, Nancy Eiten (Chuck) of Jeffersonville, IN and Brad Van Tubergen (Ashley) of George, IA; her grandchildren, Ellen and Benjamin; and her friend Kathryn Klaahsen.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
