He was predeceased by: his parents, Benhard Dirks and Grace Dirks (Meester); and his wife Dorothy Browen. He is survived by: his children, Yolanda Bohl (Dick) of Lake City, FL, Travis (Michele) of George, IA, Kevin (Carol) of George, IA and Marcel (Shelli) of George, IA; his brother Alfred Dirks of George; and his sisters-in-law, Tina Dirks of Sibley, IA and Charlene Kuehne (James) of Worthington, MN. He is also survived by 15 Grandchildren; 20 Great Grandchildren.
