She was predeceased by: her mother Alice Steenhoven (Pollema); her brothers, Arlen Steenhoven and Wayne Steenhoven; her nephew Jim Steenhoven; her niece Lori Steenhoven; and her mother-in-law Eva Stubbe.
She is survived by: her husband Jack Stubbe; her children, Jamie Peters (Doug) of Olathe, Kansas and Matthew Stubbe (Rachel) of Olathe, Kansas; her grandchildren, Seraphina and Henry Stubbe; her brother Steve Steenhoven (Lynette); her sisters-in-law, Kathy Steenhoven and Luci Steenhoven; her father-in-law Herman Stubbe; and her brother-in-law Jim Stubbe (Nicky). She is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
The family prefers memorials be directed to Northwest Iowa Community College to establish a scholarship to honor her life.
