He is survived by: his wife Judy Roegner of Mason City; his children, Brent Heitland of Geneva and Joy Heitland (Rod Smith) of Anamosa; his grandchildren, Derek Heitland (Lacey) of Rockwell and Deven Heitland (Channing) of Sheffield; his great grandchildren, Kynzlee, Brannon, Layne, Wylee, Hattie and Stetson; his siblings, Gordon Heitland of Iowa Falls, Shirley Rose of Ogden, UT, Marion Zacharias (Darrell) of Waterloo, Sally Ubben (Bob) of Ackley and Leanna Ploeger (Lester) of Webster City; and his sisters-in-law, Lois Bittner of Eldridge, Ruby VanGerpen of Overland Park, KS and Jeanene Chipp of Latimer.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hampton - Woodley Funeral Home (306 Central Ave E, Hampton, IA 50441). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
