She was predeceased by: her parents, Friedrich Koth and Louise Koth; her husband Franklin Thies; her siblings, Gladys Lillie, Bernice Koth, Arnold Koth, Harlan Koth, Wilbert Koth, LuEtta Prescott, Franklin Koth, Delores Troyer and Fred Koth Jr.; and her grandchild Terrill Alan Dannen.
She is survived by: her spouse Delmond Leroy Carlberg; her children, Holly, Michael Carlberg of Iowa Falls, Lynelle, Nicholas, Kling of Dumont, Angela, Dennis Heath and Norpel of Mesa, Arizona; and her stepchildren, Bret, Beth Jensen, Tony, Mari, Ann, Tom, Humphrey of Polk City, Bruce, Laura, Jill, Kenny and Agan of Ankeny, Iowa. She is also survived by many grandchildren; and multiple great-grandchildren.
