He was predeceased by: his parents, Cornelius Toomsen and Lucille Toomsen (Burkley) of Geneva, IA.; and his sisters, Elvera Muhlenbruch and Vivolyn Butler. He is survived by: his former wife Janet Toomsen of Shubert, NE; his children, Matthew Toomsen (Rebecca) of Omaha, NE and Erin Keppy (Lucas) of Bettendorf, IA; his grandchildren, Andrew, Abigail Toomsen, Lucille and Lillian Keppy; and his sister Judith Smith of Aurora, CO. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
