It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Jean Taylor of Geneva, Iowa, born in Dumont, Iowa, who passed away on September 22, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Roegner and Leola Roegner (Dohlman); and her husband Robert Taylor. She is survived by: her children, Dave Taylor of Geneva, Debra Oelmann of Parkersburg, Diane Warren of Pleasant Hill, Denise Knoll of St. Peter, MN and Darlene Shepherd (George) of Waukee; her grandchildren, Traci Aswegen (Reed), Ryan Oelmann (Amanda), Troy Warren (Kimberly), Tiffany Druivenga (Jason), Josh Taylor, Tosha Taylor, Jason Taylor, Jay Knoll (Sara), Jeremy Knoll (Sammi Joan), Jared Knoll, Justin Knoll (Taylor), Jenna Knoll (Skip Thomas), Teri Barney (Brian), Kristi Shepherd and Kyle Shepherd (Karessa); her great grandchildren, Missy, Lexi, Britnie, Kenley, Madelyn, Aiden, Wally, Cordelia, Connor, Mylah, Blaire, Cora, Elvie, Sophie, Ensley, Camden, Kinley, Kruz, Taisley and Luka; and her sisters, Ruby VanGerpen of Overland Park, KS, Lois Bittner of Eldridge, Judy Heitland (Rich) of Geneva and Jeanene Chipp of Latimer. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
