Linda Kaplan Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 23, 2024, at the age of 72, Linda Kaplan of Garwin, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Delmar Husen; and her grandparents, Arlene, Keith Staggs, Viola and Walter Husen.
She is survived by: her mother Marcella Husen (Staggs) of Cedar Rapids; her husband Barry Kaplan of Garwin; her children, Scott Jones (Randi) of Marshalltown, Nicole Kaplan of Marshalltown, Paige Strawn (Aaron) of Pleasant Hill, Ethan Kaplan (Melinda) of Hutchison, KS and Peri Montufar (Adam); her grandchildren, Preston, Brooklyn, Piper, Tatum Jones, Sam Bruce, Deacon Strawn, Maya, Remy Montufar and Maggie Kaplan; and her sisters, Sandy Faith (Curt) of Davenport and Denise Winter (Tim) of Cedar Rapids. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home (1209 Iowa Ave W, Marshalltown, IA 50158).
