She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Ray, Joann Schumacher, Bob and Pearl Cooper. She is survived by: her mother Mary Ann Cooper (Schumacher) of Garrison; and her siblings, Colleen Urban (Blake) of Cedar Rapids, Daniel Cooper (Sarah) of Denver, IA, Nichole Cooper of Cedar Rapids, Rachel Cooper of Cedar Rapids and Rebecca Schafer (Ryan) of Swisher.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Oakland Church of the Nazarene (3000 42nd St NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52402). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
A memorial fund has been established in Kate's honor.
