Robert R. Young Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 9, 2020, at the age of 93, Robert R. Young of Garner, Iowa, born in Mason City, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Young and Mary Young (Simper); his siblings, Anthony Young (Mary), Raymond Young, Elmer Young (Bonnie) and Mary Ann Stupka (Ray); his sisters-in-law, Shirlene and Sandy Young; and his nephew Warren Stupka.
He is survived by: his wife Mildred "Millie" of Garner; his children, John Young (Sheryl) of Mesa, AZ and Annette McLain (David) of Keosauqua, IA; his granddaughters, Amanda VanKleeck (Jason), Ashley Brown (Andrew) and Angela Leake (Phil); his great grandchildren, Calen, Cooper Brown, Faith, Caitlyn and Nicholas Leake; his brothers, Francis "Blick" Young of Sioux Falls, SD, Carl Young (Dianne) of Garner and Richard Young of Garner; and his sister-in-law LoEtta Young of Garner. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Masks are required and social distancing guidelines will be followed.
Memorials may be given in memory of Bob to Gateway Hospice or Cardinal Grove Assisted Living.
