She was predeceased by: her parents, Anton Strachota and Bessie Strachota; her husband Harold Konicek; and her grandsons, Jason Konicek and Collin Broadie.
She is survived by: her children, Diane Deibler (Bob) of Garner, Allen Konicek (Sylvia) of Alpena, MI and Cindy Broadie (Dave) of Davenport; and her sister Bessie Hrstka of Traer. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law have passed and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cataldo Funeral Chapel (160 E 4th St, Garner, IA 50438). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Cataldo Funeral Home-Garner Chapel (160 E 4th St, Garner, IA 50438).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of choice.
