With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Merle Vincent Marshall of Garner, Iowa, who passed away on September 17, 2020 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lee and Luella Faye Marshall (Kennedy); his daughter Michelle Simmer; and his brother-in-law James Arnold. He is survived by: his former wife Jane Coyier; his wife Beverly Marshall of Garner; his children, Mark Marshall of Clear Lake, Merle "Butch" Marshall (Annalisa) of Coulter, IA and Mitchell Marshall (Ami) of Cocoa, FL; his grandchildren, Jason Marshall (Danielle Brood) of Latimer, IA, Neil Marshall (Christa) of Mason City, Jeremy Simmer of Clear Lake, Jamie Simmer of Clear Lake, Shelby Marshall of Lincoln, NE and Cody Marshall of Clear Lake; and his siblings, Marlys Pemble (Chuck) of Everly, IA, Marilyn Arnold of Mason City and Michael Marshall of Loveland, CO.. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
