We are sad to announce that on April 5, 2020, at the age of 71, Merle John Gouge Jr. (Garner, Iowa), born in Forest City, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Merle Gouge and Marion Gouge (Haag); and his brothers-in-law, Duane Pigman and Timothy Wurtzel. He is survived by: his uncle Dick Gouge; his wife Violet Paulsen of Garner; his daughter Hollie Gouge; his grandchildren, Miranda of Garner and Dakota of Garner; his daughter Tuddie Gouge of Garner; his siblings, Pete Gouge (Joan) of Garner, Rebeccah Linahon of Redmond, OR, Michael Gouge (Judy) of Crystal Lake, Julie Beers (Gary) of Crystal Lake, Steve Gouge (Mary) of Garner, Laura Salz (Ted) of Garner, Lois Ziron of Mason City and David Gouge of Mason City; and his nephew Jeremy Gouge (Gail). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed in John's name to MercyOne North Iowa Hospice.
